strange what shapes our destiny. or, how did i end up here?!
after selling my stuff and packing up puppy and husband, i sailed from washington dc to a sleepy island in the bahamas where i live on my 50' irwin ketch, forward my calls.
edgyart, born during a Ladies Who Launch intensive business incubator in dc, today lets me play with color and shape and allows me to express my curious, vibrant, pseudo-dysfunctional way of looking at things.
chock full of creativity, i spend the days in the turquoise caribbean waters, creating art and trying to understand the beauty of life's synchronicities. and playing fetch the coconut with my dog, mizzen. a champ of a chesapeake bay retriever.
i use a nikon d90 camera and a canon powershot SD800IS photos of places like southeastern washington, the caribbean, washington d.c., tennessee, florida and the bahamas. i use adobe acrobat CS4 programs for designing and experimenting with colors, shapes and textures.

Nice images Staci!
Your collection is remarkable. Obviously you have your heart and head in a wonderful place allowing you so much creativity! Next time you take a swim, say hi to the fishes for me ~ Warmest Aloha!
These are fantastic- love the oranges and reds! Would be nice to see the info about ordering in different formats be more prominent on the site - how much is a print and how big can it go? I probably just need to poke around a bit more too ;-).
Brilliant colors. Perfect (and really huge) for my just-renovated downtown soft-loft. Love it!
The guestbook is empty.
